Thiagarajar College of Preceptors Edu Spectra
Thiagarajar College of Preceptors was founded by Thiru. Karumuttu Thiagarajar Chettiar. It is run by Manickavasagam charitable foundation. The college is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers University, Chennai for B.Ed., degree course. The sanctioned strength at present is 100 in aided section and 100 in additional intake section. It situated is eastern part of Madurai and on western side of Mariamman Teppakkulam.
Thiagarajar College of Preceptors Edu Spectra is peer reviewed online journal published by Thiagarajar College of Preceptors, Madurai, two times year. It aims at engaging with innovations, experimentation, critical reflections, reviews, action research and best practices and their interfaces at different levels of education and teacher education. Also intends to create forum for academic discussions, debates and other forms of exchange of ideas in school and teacher education among different stake holders.
To realize aim, it journal invites reflective articles, research papers (action research based), critical reviews, innovation, experimentation and issues and concerns in variety of area including professional development of teachers, teacher education, experiential accounts of educational practitioners and ethical and quality concerns that teacher education.
